About
A practical power guide for people who do not own the building.
Apartment Power Guide exists because most power advice assumes a garage, a roof, a panel upgrade, and permission to install permanent gear. Renters usually have none of that.
The site focuses on renter-safe resilience: portable batteries, small solar where it actually works, energy savings, outage planning, and the boring details that keep a setup safe inside a real apartment.
What this site will not do
- Recommend fuel generators indoors, on balconies, or near neighboring units.
- Pretend every apartment can support meaningful solar.
- Turn emergency planning into gear cosplay.
- Ignore lease rules, fire safety, ventilation, or trip hazards.
